Reducing fat and cholesterol intake is easy with our chicken and beef flavored analogs. Our Chicken Flavored Slices and Un-Steak Strips are flavored through and through by a special process making these textured proteins taste and feel like the chicken and beef that they are replacing.

The Chicken Flavored Slices look like fork size pieces of chicken breast and can be used for any recipe requiring chicken chunks or pieces. Our Un-Steak Slices look like fork size pieces of pepper steak and can be used with any dish asking for steak or beef pieces.

ND Labs’ Vegetable Crumbles are not flavored and will take on the flavor of any broth that it is simmered in. Vegetable Crumbles were created to have the texture of browned ground beef and find their way into a multiple of dishes. They can be used to make vegetarian stuffed shells, lasagna, stuffed peppers or tomatoes and even a great meat sauce. Easy to use 1/2 lb of Vegetable Crumbles yields 1 lb of ground beef like protein pieces.

Cholesterol and Trans Fat Free, ND Labs’ meat they put the WOW into meatless, vegetarian cooking. An added bonus, our textured proteins cut meal preparation and clean up time. In some cases it will take you ½ the time to prepare the vegetarian alternatives of your favorite meat or chicken meals.
Chicken Flavored Strips, Un-Steak Slices and Vegetable Crumbles require no cutting or dicing; no fat or bones to trim off; and only the pot that they are simmered in to clean up.

Using Flavored Textured Protein is Easy. Follow these steps and have a great tasting meal in minutes:
  • Step 1. Hydrate in simmering water; allow all the water to soak into the pieces. Chicken Flavored Slices, Un-Steak Strips and Vegetable Crumbles will double in size and become softer. (Use the same amount of water (by weight) as the protein pieces.)

  • Step 2. Replace some or all of the chicken or beef in your favorite recipes. Can be used to make vegetarian chicken chow mien, chicken pot pie, garlic chicken, stry fried vegetables and chicken, beef stew, pepper steak, steak sandwiches, sweet n sour steak, beef lo mien, stir fried steak and a multiple of other dishes calling for chicken, steak or beef pieces.
