Regular Brownies

• 1 Box (12 oz) Brownie Mix
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1/2 stick (4 tbsp) butter or margarine
• 2 large eggs



Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Melt either the butter or margarine in microwave. Then, mix melted butter or margarine and brownie mix together. Mix them using a wooden spoon or spatula until the batter becomes uniform. Add 1 egg* and applesauce. Mix well. Spread into a greased 8x8 pan. Bake for 20-24 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. Allow the brownies to fully cool before cutting.
*Note: For a chewier brownie, add 2 tbsp of water with the eggs.

Fun toppings:
Reduced-fat whipped cream.
